BNB Wallets: Which Wallets Support BNB?
To receive BNB from an exchange, the wallet must support the same BNB network used for the payout. For most current BNB transfers, that means BNB Smart Chain (BSC), the EVM-compatible network where BNB is the native asset and is used to pay network fees.
Several established wallets support BNB Smart Chain directly, including Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Binance Wallet, SafePal, Rabby, Ledger and Trezor. The main difference is not whether they can hold BNB, but how they store keys, which devices they work on and how the BNB Smart Chain account is selected before receiving funds.
Which Wallets Support BNB on BNB Smart Chain?
The wallets below currently support BNB Smart Chain or allow a BNB Smart Chain account to be managed through their software or hardware setup.
| Wallet | Type | Platforms | BNB Smart Chain support | Practical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trust Wallet | Self-custody software wallet | iOS, Android, browser extension | Native BNB and BNB Smart Chain support | Mobile or browser wallet for receiving and managing BNB |
| MetaMask | Self-custody EVM wallet | Browser extension, mobile | BNB Chain is supported as an EVM network | Useful when BNB is managed alongside Ethereum and other EVM assets |
| Binance Wallet | Self-custodial Web3 wallet | Binance app, web | BNB Smart Chain is supported | Convenient for users already using the Binance ecosystem |
| SafePal | Software and hardware wallet ecosystem | Mobile app, browser extension, hardware devices | BNB Chain and BEP-20 assets are supported | One ecosystem for hot-wallet and hardware-wallet use |
| Rabby | Self-custody EVM wallet | Browser extension, mobile, desktop | BNB Chain is supported | EVM-focused wallet with clear network and transaction handling |
| Ledger | Hardware wallet | Hardware device with wallet software / compatible EVM interfaces | BNB and supported BEP-20 assets can be managed on BNB Smart Chain | Hardware-key storage for BNB |
| Trezor | Hardware wallet | Trezor device and Trezor Suite | BNB Smart Chain is supported in Trezor Suite | Hardware storage with a dedicated BNB Smart Chain account |
Wallet support can change over time. Before using a receiving address, check that the wallet still shows BNB Smart Chain / BSC as a supported network and that the network shown in the Swap-BNB.org order matches it.
The old BNB Chain Wallet browser extension should not be confused with the current wallet options above. Its official sunset took place in 2025, so it is not a wallet we use as a current recommendation for new BNB transfers.
Trust Wallet, MetaMask and Other BNB Wallet Options
The same BNB Smart Chain can be accessed through different wallet formats. A mobile wallet may be simpler for everyday transfers, while a hardware wallet keeps signing keys on a physical device. The important part for receiving BNB is selecting the correct network and copying the receiving address from the correct account.
Trust Wallet
Trust Wallet has direct support for BNB and BNB Smart Chain and is available as a mobile app and browser extension. It is a self-custody wallet, so the user controls the wallet credentials rather than leaving the BNB in a custodial exchange account.
To receive BNB, open the BNB/Smart Chain asset in Trust Wallet, choose the receive option and verify that the selected network is BNB Smart Chain before copying the address. The address can then be used as the destination address in a Swap-BNB.org order when the payout network shown by the order is also BNB Smart Chain.
MetaMask
MetaMask supports BNB Chain as one of its EVM networks. In current versions, BNB Chain can be added or selected through the network controls instead of relying on an old third-party configuration guide.
A MetaMask account normally uses an EVM-style 0x... address across compatible networks, but that does not make the networks interchangeable. Select BNB Chain in MetaMask and confirm that the Swap-BNB.org order also shows BNB Smart Chain before sending BNB to that address.
Binance Wallet
Binance Wallet is a self-custodial Web3 wallet built into the Binance app, with a web version also available for desktop on-chain use. BNB Smart Chain is among its supported networks.
For a BNB payout, open the wallet rather than the exchange deposit interface, select BNB Smart Chain and copy the receiving address shown for that network. The network displayed by the wallet must match the payout network displayed in the exchange order.
SafePal
SafePal supports BNB Chain in its wallet ecosystem and provides mobile, browser-extension and hardware-wallet options. Its BNB Chain support includes BNB and assets that use the BEP-20 token standard.
When receiving BNB, choose the BNB Smart Chain account in SafePal and use the address shown there. If a SafePal hardware device is part of the setup, confirm the address through the hardware-wallet flow before using it for a larger transfer.
Rabby Wallet
Rabby is an EVM-focused self-custody wallet with BNB Chain support. It is available as a browser extension as well as mobile and desktop applications.
Because Rabby works across many EVM networks, check the active network rather than relying only on the 0x... address format. For a BNB transfer from Swap-BNB.org, the active destination should correspond to BNB Smart Chain when that is the network shown in the order.
Ledger
Ledger hardware wallets can be used to manage BNB and supported BEP-20 assets on BNB Smart Chain. The private keys remain protected by the hardware device, while the account can be accessed through compatible wallet software.
Some BEP-20 tokens may not be displayed directly by the default Ledger interface even though they remain at the BNB Smart Chain address. For receiving native BNB, use the BNB Smart Chain account and verify the receiving address through the supported Ledger workflow before entering it into an exchange order.
Trezor
Trezor supports BNB Smart Chain in Trezor Suite, where users can add a BNB Smart Chain account and generate a receiving address. BNB Smart Chain can also be used with compatible third-party EVM wallets such as MetaMask or Rabby while the Trezor device protects the keys.
For a direct BNB payout, open the BNB Smart Chain account in Trezor Suite, choose Receive, display the full address and verify it on the hardware device before copying it. This extra address check is especially useful before a larger exchange.
Which BNB Network Should You Select?
The ticker BNB by itself is not enough to identify a blockchain route. When receiving funds, use the exact network shown by the exchange order and supported by the destination wallet.
| Network | Current role | What to do when receiving BNB |
|---|---|---|
| BNB Smart Chain (BSC) | Main EVM-compatible BNB network; BNB is the native gas asset | Use it when the order explicitly shows BNB Smart Chain / BSC |
| opBNB | Separate Layer 2 network in the BNB ecosystem | Use only when the order and wallet both explicitly show opBNB |
| BNB Beacon Chain / BEP-2 | Legacy chain that has been retired | Do not select it for a new BNB Smart Chain payout |
BNB Beacon Chain stopped processing new transactions as part of the BNB Chain Fusion. Old articles may still refer to BEP-2 addresses or the former dual-chain setup, but that information should not be used as instructions for a new BNB Smart Chain transfer.
How to Find a BNB Receiving Address
The exact buttons differ between wallets, but the receiving flow is similar. The goal is to copy an address from an account that is explicitly connected to BNB Smart Chain.
- 1
Open the wallet and unlock it locally.
- 2
Select BNB Smart Chain, BNB Chain or BSC, depending on the wallet interface.
- 3
Open the native BNB asset or the BNB Smart Chain account.
- 4
Choose Receive or the equivalent option.
- 5
Copy the receiving address shown by the wallet.
- 6
Return to the exchange order and confirm that its payout network is the same BNB Smart Chain network.
- 7
Paste the address and compare the beginning and end of the address before confirming the order.
BNB Smart Chain uses EVM-compatible addresses that normally begin with 0x. Seeing a 0x address is not enough by itself to prove that the network is correct because Ethereum and many other EVM chains use the same address format. The network name shown in both interfaces is the important check.
Wallet Checks Before Receiving BNB
At Swap-BNB.org, the completed exchange is sent to the destination address supplied for the order. We therefore recommend checking the wallet and network before sending the deposit rather than trying to correct an address after the order has been created.
Use this checklist:
make sure the wallet supports BNB Smart Chain;
select the same network shown by the Swap-BNB.org order;
copy the address directly from the wallet rather than typing it manually;
compare the first and last characters after pasting the address;
never provide a seed phrase, private key or wallet password to complete an exchange;
for a hardware wallet, verify the receiving address on the device when that option is available;
if the wallet displays several BNB-related networks, do not choose opBNB or a legacy network unless the order explicitly uses that network.
Software Wallet or Hardware Wallet for BNB?
Both types can receive BNB on BNB Smart Chain. The difference is mainly how the signing keys are stored and how frequently the wallet is intended to be used.
Software wallets such as Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Binance Wallet and Rabby are convenient for regular transfers and Web3 activity. SafePal also provides software-wallet options. The wallet is available directly on a phone, browser or desktop device, so the user is responsible for protecting the recovery credentials and the device itself.
Hardware wallets such as Ledger and Trezor keep signing keys on a separate physical device. SafePal also offers hardware-wallet models. This can be useful when BNB is held for longer periods or when the user wants transaction approval to require a hardware device.
A hardware wallet does not remove the need to verify the network. Sending BNB through the wrong blockchain route can still create recovery problems even when the private keys are stored offline.
Receiving BNB from Swap-BNB.org
If you already have a compatible wallet, you can use it as the destination for an amount-based BNB exchange. For example, compare the current conditions for 0.1 BNB, 1 BNB or 10 BNB, then enter the BNB Smart Chain address from your wallet when BNB is the selected payout asset.
Before creating the order, the live exchange form shows the selected asset and network details. Use those details as the final source for the route rather than assuming that a wallet address alone identifies the correct blockchain.

Which wallets support BNB Smart Chain?
Current options include Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Binance Wallet, SafePal, Rabby, Ledger and Trezor. They use different software and hardware models, but each can work with BNB Smart Chain. Always verify current support in the wallet before sending because wallet features can change.
Can I store BNB in MetaMask?
Yes. MetaMask supports BNB Chain as an EVM network. Select or add BNB Chain in the network controls, then use the account address while BNB Smart Chain is selected. BNB is also required as the native gas asset for transactions on BNB Smart Chain.
Does Trust Wallet support BNB?
Yes. Trust Wallet provides direct support for BNB and BNB Smart Chain in its mobile app and browser extension. Open the BNB/Smart Chain asset and use its receiving function to obtain the destination address.
Can Ledger and Trezor receive BNB?
Yes. Both hardware-wallet ecosystems support BNB Smart Chain. Ledger can manage BNB and supported BEP-20 assets, while Trezor provides a BNB Smart Chain account in Trezor Suite. With a hardware wallet, verify the receiving address on the device or through the wallet's supported verification flow before using it.
Is BNB Beacon Chain the same as BNB Smart Chain?
No. BNB Beacon Chain was the older chain used in the former dual-chain architecture and has been retired. BNB Smart Chain is the active EVM-compatible network used for current BNB and BEP-20 activity. For a new transfer, follow the exact network displayed by the wallet and exchange order rather than an old BEP-2 guide.
